Plaice Fillet is supplied from Villfanget, Nord-Norge (wild-caught). At Havøyet we fillet and pack all fish and seafood ourselves. It arrives from Domstein at the fish quay in Bergen and is driven out to you on ice the same day. We never accept produce we would not serve ourselves.
Plaice Fillet is part of Havøyet's selection of fresh white fish from Norwegian waters. White fish has lean, light flesh with a mild flavour, perfect for pan-frying, baking, grilling or in soups and stews. Its low fat content makes white fish a healthy, versatile choice for weeknights and gatherings.

Plaice is a North Sea flatfish with characteristic red spots on its skin. It is known for its mild flavour and soft texture, and is a classic choice for crumbing and frying.
Plaice is in season from April to October. Outside the season, it is not available from us.
